MMIS for Denied Cases

Current Functionality

Currently the VaCMS driver flow queues the MMIS Individual Details page for denied MA cases before authorization even though there are no transactions to send to MMIS. Please use the following steps to process Denied Cases.

 

Certify/Authorize a Denied MA Case

Follow the process below to Certify / Authorize a Denied MA Case:

  1. From the Medicaid – EDG summary, click Next.

  2. The MMIS Individual Details page will display with message “No records found for this search criteria.”

  3. Click Continue.

  4. The Certification / Authorization page displays.

  5. Select All and Certify / Auth.
