Populating CommonHelp EAP Application Data into the EAP Module

Current Functionality

 

Currently, applications submitted via CommonHelp do not prepopulate data from the CommonHelp application into the EAP module screens when associated to an existing EAP case. Data from the existing EAP case will appear instead. Follow the steps below to ensure your EAP case contains up-to-date customer information.

Interim Business Process for Populating CommonHelp EAP Application Data into the EAP Module

 

In My Workspace

 

  1. File Clear the EAP application in My Workspace

  2. Choose the correct Client IDs

  3. Select YES from the Associate to Case dropdown if the client has an existing EAP case to merge the application with the existing EAP case

  4. Complete File Clearance and assign the application to a worker (The application will have a Processing Status of Submitted).

Reminder: please monitor all File Cleared applications since T-number will not display as an application in the EAP inbox.

 

In the EAP Inbox

 

  1. Enter the associated case number in the Case Number field on the EAP Inbox page

  2. The converted case will display with a Closed or Denied status.

  3. Select the radio button next to the converted case and click Update Application/Case.

  4. Open the PDF of the application you associated to the case in My Workspace.

  5. Existing case data will appear when you begin the data collection process. Use the application PDF to update all case data, including selecting the correct component and entering the correct application date.

  6. Run eligibility and authorize the results.
