This set of documents provides information and step-by-step instructions for completing tasks within the VaCMS. It is part of a set of online documentation that also includes Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and Interim Business Processes (IBPs). This information explains the Procedure Help files.

Remember: You should always consult and apply appropriate policy when entering a case, application, renewal or change in the VaCMS.

The procedure help files are regularly updated. This section lists the procedure changes that were made in the most recent release.

To locate information in the procedure help files.

• Click the Search button .
  Type a keyword or phrase in the search text box and click the Search button. Results display ranked in order of relevance. When you click on a result, the procedure help file displays in the main window.

Please note, the Navigation Pane, located on the left-side of the application window displays the Table of Contents (TOC) which contains books (). Clicking the book reveals all the procedure help files.

Click the Print button  located in the toolbar.

Quick Reference Guides and Interim Business Processes are also available online within the VaCMS but they are organized under a separate tab, as show below.

Locate the dropdown menu found at the left of the toolbar. Choose Quick Reference Guides or Interim Business Processes and the left navigation displays the Quick Reference Guides or Interim Business Processes Table of Contents () and help files ().
