Appeal Summary SNAP

Use this process to generate the Appeal Summary SNAP form.

Process Steps:

Navigate to the Appeal Summary SNAP page through the Search Case Information and Search Document Information pages. The Appeal Summary SNAP page displays.

In the Income Details section:

- Enter the Standard Deduction.
- Enter the Housing Costs.
- Enter Earned Income Deduction.
- Enter Utilities.
- Enter Excess Medical Costs.
- Enter Utility Standard.
- Enter Daycare Costs.
- Enter Telephone Standard.
- Enter Child Support Deduction.
- Enter Shelter Costs.
- Enter Adjusted Income.
- Enter 50% of Adjusted Income.
- Enter Net Income.
- Enter Excess Shelter Costs.

In the Agency Policy section:
- Select the Details from the dropdown menu.

In the Conference section:
- Select the Details from the dropdown menu.

In the Participation in the Appeal section:

- Select a radio button option for If Applicable, state whether assistance is continuing in the original amount during appeal process.
- Select the Reason from the dropdown menu.

Click Preview to view a PDF preview of the form.

The selected form displays in a pop-up window as a PDF file and is auto-populated with the information previously entered into the VaCMS.

Click the print icon in the upper left corner of the PDF to print the form.

Click X in the upper right corner of the PDF to close the pop-up window.

Click Submit to send the form to be printed.

Results of the Procedure:

The Appeal Summary SNAP form is generated.
