Asset Verification - Search

Use this procedure to search and verify assets.

Process Steps:

The Asset Verification page displays.
Select the Client from the Client dropdown menu.
- Liquid resources with a category of Financial Account or Other Liquid Resources will populate based on information entered on Liquid Resource page.

Click Verify Assets to verify all assets.
- Wait for a response from AVS. A notification will be sent when AVS returns information via an Alert in Tasks and Reminders.

Once a response is received, the View Response hyperlink is enabled. Click on the link to view verification response. The AVS Verification of Disclosed Assets page opens up on the click of View Response. The VaCMS will display all the responses received for the latest month received for that Financial Institution. Select an asset and click on the Add Verified Resources button. AVS verified amount, AVS Verification Date and the Verification columns are updated with this information on the same record.

Click View Response to view the verification response.

Click View Un-Disclosed Assets to view assets not previously reported.

Click the View Un-disclosed Assets button to view the detection responses sent by Asset Verification Service (responses for financial institutions not entered at all). Click the View Un-disclosed Assets button to view the AVS Verification of Un-Disclosed Assets page. The VaCMS will display the detection response for all the assets for that client for the latest month as returned by Assert Verification Services. Select one or more assets and click on the Add Verified Resources button. AVS verified amount, AVS Verification Date and the Verification columns are updated with this information on the same record.

Click Next.

Click the Search icon to open the Financial Institution Look-up page.

The page will display a list of financial institutions from the Bank File shared by Acuity, matched based on the financial institution name entered for the particular asset.

Enter financial institution name in the Financial Institution Name text box to search for a different financial institution

Click the View History Link to view account history.

Results of the Procedure:

The VaCMS displays the search verification results.
