Benefit Adjustment Search

Use this process to view existing benefit adjustment requests or to create a new benefit adjustment for the TANF and SNAP programs.

Process Steps:

The Benefit Adjustment Search page displays.

To search for an existing benefit adjustment request and/or to create a new request:

In the Search Information section:
- Enter one or more of the following fields: Case #, EDG # or BA Request Status.
- Select the Program from the dropdown menu.
Click Submit.
- Benefit adjustment requests that have not yet been processed and that do not have a BA request status of “Cancelled” or “Denied” will display in the search results

The VaCMS only displays records that have an Issuance Type of Supplement, Restoration, Underpayment Correction, or Replacement.

If the status of a benefit adjustment request is Pending Supervisor Approval or Approved by a Supervisor then only a supervisor can edit or delete the benefit adjustment request.

To edit or view an existing benefit adjustment, click the edit icon (pencil) next to the record.
To create a new benefit adjustment request click Add. The Add button is only enabled if the search was completed by Case # or EDG #.

Results of the Procedure:

The benefit adjustment request for the TANF and SNAP programs are displayed.
