Use this procedure to record the status of a customer in a case.
The Client Household Status page displays.
In the Client Information section:
Review the customer's Name.
Review the customer's Age.
Review the customer's Gender.
In the Client Household Status Dates section:

During the Intake process the Effective Begin Date defaults to the first of the application / screening month. When making updates to the Data Collection driver flow the Effective Begin Date defaults to the current date. |

When entering information for the first time the Reported On, Date Change Occurred, and Verification Received On dates default to the current date. |
Enter the Effective Begin Date of the customer's status (required).
Enter the Reported On date for when the customer's status was reported to the local department (required).
Enter the date customer became aware of the details in the Date Change Occurred field (required).
Enter the date the verification was received in the Verification Received On field (required).
In the Client Household Status section:
Select the Household Status of the customer (required).
Select the Household Status Verification.
If the customer has left the household, enter the customer's Date Left Home.
Select if the customer intends to return to the household in the Intend to return? field, if applicable.

The Intend to Return field is disabled unless Out of Household is selected from the Household Status dropdown menu. The Absent, Reason field is disabled unless Yes is selected from the Intend to Return dropdown menu. |
Select the reason for the temporary customer absence from the house in the Absent Reason field, if applicable.
Enter the Estimated Date of Return, if applicable.

The Number of Days in a Month the Child Sleeps in the Caretaker’s Home (Average Over the Next 12 months) field is disabled unless the customer is younger than 19 years old. |
Enter the Number of Days in a Month the Child Sleeps in the Caretaker’s Home (Average Over the Next 12 months), if applicable.
Click Save + Continue.

The VaCMS queues the Client Information, Client Household Status, and Client – Alias Names (If applicable) pages for each individual in the case. This process repeats itself until individual information has been recorded for each customer in the case. |
The customer status information is entered.
