Use this procedure to copy budget line information to the next Fiscal Year (FY).
From the Left Navigation menu:
Select Funds Management,
Select Budget Line and The Budget Line Summary page displays.
Review the Budget Line List.
Click the edit icon next to the budget line to be copied and the Budget Line Detail page displays.
Click Copy to Next Year Budget Line.

The budget lines can be copied to the next year, even if the books are closed, as there is no impact to the current year budget line when the information is copied. The current year budget line record will not be updated. The budget lines cannot be copied past the immediate future year (In other words, if the current FY is 2011, the budget can only be copied to FY 2012, not 2013) |
The budget line information is copied to the next FY.
