Custodial Party

Use this process to choose the household member who needs to be designated as a custodial party for DCSE referral.

Process Steps:

The Custodial Party page displays

.

1. In the Custodial Party Information section:
   • Select the Name dropdown menu (required).

   • Enter the DCSE Legacy Case Number (required).

2. To search for a DCSE Legacy Case Number:

   • Click the “magnifying glass” icon” next to DCSE Legacy Case Number to search and select a DCSE Legacy Case Number.

   • • The DCSE Legacy Case Number Search pop-up window displays.

   • Select a search option from the Search by dropdown menu.

   • Click Search.

   • • The DCSE Legacy Case Number Search Results display.

   • Select the radio button next to the DCSE Legacy Case Number or option.

   • Click Submit.

1. The Generate DCSE Legacy Case Number button is enabled if the ‘DCSE Legacy Case Number’ field is blank. Click the button and the ‘DCSE Legacy Case Number’ is populated. If no match is found, then a new DCSE Legacy Case Number is created.

1. • Select the Is this a Payee Case dropdown menu (required).

2. Click Save + Continue.

Results of the Procedure:

The designated custodial party for DCSE is recorded.
