EAP Program Denial

Use this process to deny a service for cooling, crisis, or fuel assistance.

Process Steps:

The EAP Program Denial page displays.

1. Select the Component from the dropdown menu (required).
2. Select the request type from the Crisis / Cooling Request Type dropdown menu.
3. Select the reason for the denial from the Denial Reason dropdown menu (Required).
4. Enter the Denial Date (Required).
5. Click Add.
6. Click Submit.
7. If eligibility is not run for the case yet, then perform the denial directly from the EAP Program Denial Page. You do not need to run eligibility to complete the denial.
8. If eligibility is run at least once, then re-run eligibility after completing the EAP Program Denial page to complete the denial. After clicking Submit, the text Pending EDBC run displays next to the Denial Reason.

Results of the Procedure:

The EAP case has been denied. Re-run Eligibility after completing the EAP Program Denial page to complete the denial.
