Use this process to reinstate a service for cooling, crisis, or fuel assistance.
The EAP Reinstate page displays.
In the Reinstate section:
Enter the date the service or component will be reinstated in the Reinstate Date field.
Select the reason for reinstating the service or component from the Reinstate Reason dropdown menu.
Select at least one check box next to a record.
Click Submit.
During the Fuel Assistance component, only service requests that have been closed or denied during the current program year can be reinstated and will be displayed.
For crisis and cooling components, only those service requests related to the current program year that are in a denied status will be displayed.
Upon clicking Submit, the selected service records will appear in a pending status on the EAP Application Details page allowing you to navigate through the flow and make any changes as needed. Run eligibility and certify/authorize the result to complete the reinstatement process.
The EAP case has been reinstated.
