Edit a Pending Referral

Use this process to edit a pending IV-E Foster Care Referral.

Process Steps:

The Edit Pending Referral page displays.

1. Enter the IV-E Referral Number.

2. Click Next.

3. The DCSE Case Information page displays.

• • Change the IV-E Effective Begin Date, if necessary.

  • Change the Locality if necessary.

  • Change the DCSE Legacy Case Number, if necessary.

  • Click Save + Continue.

4. The Absent Parent-Summary page displays.

• • Click the pencil icon to access the Absent Parent pages to edit the data and update the necessary records.

  • Click Submit DCSE Referral to submit the referral to DCSE.  

Results of the Procedure:

The pending referral is updated and/or submitted to DCSE.
