Use this procedure to record education details for individual customers.
The Education - Details page displays.
In the Client Information section:
Select the customer’s name from the Name dropdown menu.
The customer's Client # is read-only.
In the Education Dates section:
Enter the Effective Begin Date of the education details (required).
Enter the Reported On date for when the education details were reported to the local department (required).
Enter the date the customer became aware of the details in the Date Change Occurred field (required).
Enter the date the verification was received in the Verification Received On field (required).
In the Age Information section:
The customer's DOB and Age are read-only.
In the Highest Level of Education Completed section:
Select the customer's Highest level of education completed.
Select the Verification for the customer’s completed education level.
Enter the Graduation Date.
In the Current Education Details section:
Enter the customer's School Name.
Enter the customer's School Address.
Select the Type of Educational Institution.
Select the customer's Enrollment Status (required).
Select the Verification for the customer’s enrollment status (required when TANF is requested and the individual is between 5 and 19 years of age and the Enrollment Status is Full-time).
Select the customer's Anticipated Graduation Date.
Select Be participating in a work incentive program or be assigned to or placed in an institution of higher education through, if applicable.
Select Yes or No from the Is the individual physically, mentally, or emotionally unprepared to attend school? dropdown menu.
Select Yes or No from the Is the individual participating in a state or federally financed work-study program during the regular school year? dropdown menu, if applicable.
Select Yes or No from the Student works for at least 80 hours per month dropdown menu, if applicable.
Select Yes or No from the Student meets the minimum wage requirement dropdown menu, if applicable
Select Yes or No from the Satisfactory progress? dropdown menu, if applicable (required if Enrollment Status is Part-time or Full-time and the customer applies for MA or for SNAP only applications).
Select the Satisfactory Progress Validation source.
Select Yes or No from the Approved Activity or Not? dropdown menu (mandatory when the Type of Educational Institute is Home Schooled).
Select Yes or No from the Caretaker in school same time as child? dropdown menu.
Select the Caretaker in School Validation from the dropdown menu.
Select Yes or No from Is Child care available? dropdown menu.
Click Save + Continue.
Education details for a customer are recorded.
