Expense Questions

Use this procedure to answer the expense questions.

Process Steps:

1. The Expense – Questions page displays.
2. In the Dependent Care Expenses section (all questions required if MA is present on case):
   • Select Yes or No from the Does anyone in the household incur a dependent care expense? dropdown menu.

3. In the Medical Expenses section:
   • Select Yes or No from the Does anyone in the household incur medical expenses? dropdown menu.

4. In the Medicare Premium Expenses section:
   • Select Yes or No from the Does anyone in the household incur Medicare Premium Expenses? dropdown menu.

5. In the Child Support and Alimony Expenses section:
   • Select Yes or No from the Does anyone in the household pay child support or alimony? dropdown menu.

6. In the Housing/Shelter section:
   • Select Yes or No from the Does anyone in the household incur housing/shelter expenses such as rent or mortgage, homeowner’s insurance, real estate or mobile home tax including shelter that is temporarily not lived in? dropdown menu (required).

7. In the Utility Expenses section:
   • Select Yes or No from the Does anyone in the household incur utility expenses such as heating, cooling, telephone, etc.? dropdown menu.
8. In the Work Related Expenses section (required if MA is present on case):
   • Select Yes or No from the Does anyone in the household incur work related expenses? dropdown menu.
9. In the Spenddown Medical Expenses section:
   • Select Yes or No from the Does anyone in the household incur Spenddown Medical Expense?  dropdown menu.
10. Click Next.

Results of the Procedure:

The answers to the resource questions have been recorded.
