Use this procedure to file clear each member of the household.
In the Application Summary section:
Review the applicant name, address, and contact information.
View the information for members listed on the application including name, SSN, DOB, and Program(s).
The File Clear checkbox defaults to checked for each member of the household requesting assistance.
Click Next.
The File Clearance process begins and the File Clearance - Results page displays.
The File Clearance - Results page displays for each member of the household, one at a time.
The Client Being File Cleared section displays the details of the individual currently being file cleared.
Click the radio button next to the option you want to select.

Potential matches are displayed at the bottom of the page by comparing name, SSN, and DOB. Refer to the File Clearing and Deferring File Clearance Quick Reference Guides for directions about specific file clearing scenarios. |
Click Next.
Once all individuals have been file cleared, the Register Client page displays with new or associated Client #s listed for each individual.
Click Save + Continue.
The address has been registered.
