Map Hospitals to Localities

Use this procedure to assign hospitals to localities.

Process Steps:

1. From the Left Navigation menu, click Maintain LDSS Resources, then Map Hospitals to FIPS.
   • The Map Hospitals to Localities page displays.
2. Select a Hospital Name from the dropdown menu (required).
3. To assign a hospital to a locality:
   • Select a Locality Name from the Available list box. Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple localities.
   • Click Add or Add All to move the locality(s) to the Assigned list box.
4. To remove a hospital from an assigned locality:
   • Select a Locality Name from the Assigned list box. Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple localities.
   • Click Remove or Remove All to move the locality(s) to the Available list box.
5. Click Submit.

Results of the Procedure:

The selected hospital is assigned to a locality.
