Match MMIS Case / Enrollee IDs

Use this procedure to update MMIS Case and Enrollee IDs directly in the VaCMS. This allows you to correct MMIS Case or Enrollee ID errors and helps ensure that individuals only have a single MMIS Enrollee ID.

Process Steps:

  1. Click Eligibility, then click Match MMIS Case / Enrollee IDs in the VaCMS.

  2. Enter the VaCMS Case ID or VaCMS Individual ID (VaCMS Client ID) and click Search.

 

Searching by the VaCMS Case ID will display all individuals associated with the case. Searching the VaCMS individual ID will display the appropriate individual only.

 

  1. Enter the MMIS Enrollee ID and MMIS Case ID for the case you want to associate with the individual.

 

To prevent rejections, ensure that the MMIS Case ID and MMIS Enrollee ID exactly matches the respective VaCMS Individual or the  VaCMS Case Name.

 

  1. Click Submit.

 

Results of the Procedure:

The MMIS Enrollee ID and Case ID is updated in the VaCMS.
