Medicaid Covered Group Details
Use this procedure to enter a customer’s Medicaid Covered Group information. This page triggers if you answered Yes to the “Medicaid Cover Group” question on the Household – Client Questions page.
Process Steps:
- The Medicaid Covered Group – Details page displays.
- In the Client Information section:
- Select a Name from the dropdown menu.
- In the Dates section:

- Enter the Effective Begin Date (required).
- Enter the End Date.
- Enter the Reported On date (required).
- Enter the Date Change Occurred (required).
- Enter the Verification Received On date (required).
- In the Other Medicaid Covered Groups section:

- Select a Medicaid Covered Group from the dropdown menu.
- Select a Status.
- Enter a Status Date.
- Select Yes or No from the Has the client signed work agreement? dropdown menu.
- Select Yes or No from the Has the client established WIN account? dropdown menu.
- In the Extended Medicaid section:

- Select Yes or No from the Has the client correctly received LIFC three of the last six months? dropdown menu.
- Select Yes or No from the Has the client already received 12 months of Extended Medicaid? dropdown menu.
- Select the failure reason from the What is the LIFC failure reason? dropdown menu (enabled and mandatory when Has the client correctly received LIFC three of the last six months? is selected as Yes).
- In the ABD Protected Group section:

This section is required if the Medicaid Covered Group is ABD Protected Group.

- Select Yes or No from the Individual was eligible for SSA, SSI, and AG concurrently OR SSA and AG concurrently OR SSA and SSI concurrently and lost it dropdown menu.
- Select Yes or No from the Individual is disabled and not receiving SSI benefits due to trial work period dropdown menu.
- Select Yes or No from the Individual is at least age 18 and was determined to be Blind or Disabled and received SSI before the age of 22 and lost it due to receipt of Social Security benefits dropdown menu.
- Select Yes or No from the Disabled widow(er) age 50 thru 64 who received SSI or AG and lost it due to early receipt of Social Security Widow(er) benefits and does not have Medicare Part A dropdown menu.
- Select Yes or No from the Would the client be eligible for Protected Covered Group based on current SSI or Auxiliary Grants limits? dropdown menu.
- Click Save + Add Medicaid Covered Group to save your information.
- Repeat steps 1 through 7 to add additional covered groups.
- Click Save + Continue.
Results of the Procedure:
The Medicaid Covered Group details for the household are recorded.
