Use this procedure to record the receipt of a redetermination packet.
From the Left Navigation menu, select Redetermination, then Packet Received Date.
The Packet Received page displays.
Enter the Case #
Select the form that was received from the Form Type dropdown menu.
Click Search.
The Packet Received Details section displays with all the active Eligibility Determination Groups (EDGs) on the case.
The EDG # field defaults to the EDG number of the program being reviewed. You can click the EDG # hyperlink to view the EDG summary.
The EDGs that display are related to the form type selected.
The TOA (Type of Assistance) defaults to the program being reviewed.
The Redetermination Date displays the due date of the case redetermination.
The Redetermination Sent Date displays the date the redetermination packet is sent.
The Redetermination Received / Ex-Parte Date displays the date the redetermination packet is received.
Note: The Packet Received Date cannot be more than three months prior to the renewal due date. If the Packet Received Date entered is more than three months prior to the renewal due date, the error message "ED02042: Packet Received Date cannot be more than 3 months prior to the Redetermination Date because an early renewal cannot be performed more than 3 months prior to the Redetermination Date" will appear
Click the edit (pencil) icon to go to the Packet Received Date – Details page.
The EDG# and TOA will be auto-populated from the previous page.
Enter the Packet Received Date.
Enter the Date completed interim report and / or last verification was received. This is applicable for TANF and SNAP only.
Click Submit.
The message “Submit Successful” displays if the packet was successfully recorded as received. Proceed to Case Action to initiate the Redetermination process.
The message “Submit Unsuccessful” displays if the packet was not successfully recorded as received.
The receipt of a redetermination packet is recorded.
