Perform a LTC Resource Assessment

Use this procedure to initiate a LTC Resource Assessment for an institutionalized individual with a community spouse.

Process Steps:

From the Left Navigation menu, select Data Collection, then Case Action.
- The Case Action page displays.
In the Case Action section:

- Enter the Case or Application or Screening # or click the search icon, enter the search criteria, select the appropriate case, and click submit (required).
- Select LTC Resource Assessment (required).

The LTC Resource Assessment request must be processed through Application Registration in order to select LTC Resource Assessment as an option.

To perform a LTC Resource Assessment as part of MA application, first process the MA application with appropriate case action. Before authorizing the EDBC results for MA, change the case action to LTC Resource Assessment You can then perform the LTC Resource Assessment.

Results of the Procedure:

Answers to the LTC Resource Assessment are recorded.
