Pursuit of Benefits Details

Use this procedure to record details for a client's pursuit of benefits.

Process Steps:

The Pursuit of Benefits Details page displays.

1. In the Client Information section:

1. • Select the Name of the client.

2. In the Pursuit of Benefits Dates section:

1. • In the Effective Begin Date field, enter estimated date when pursuit of benefits started.  

1. • Enter the date that the pursuit of benefits was reported in the Reported On field.

   • In the End Date field, enter estimated date when Pursuit of Benefits ended.

   • In the Date Change Occurred field, enter date when the client learned of the pursuit of benefits.

   • Enter the date when the client presented documentation to prove pursuit of benefits in the Verification Received on field.

3. In the Pursuit of Benefits Information section

   • Select the Benefit Type from the dropdown menu.

   • Select the Good Cause reason from the dropdown menu.

   • Select Yes or No from the Has Individual Co-operated with pursuing the benefit? dropdown menu.

4. Click Save + Continue.

Results of the Procedure:

The client's pursuit of benefits details are recorded.
