Rapid Data Entry - Non-Financial Information
Use this procedure to enter application data as part of the Rapid Data Entry process.
Process Steps
The Non-Financial Information page displays upon completing the Relationship Information page (or the People page if a single applicant/customer). Some fields / sections may only display based upon the specific mode (Apply, Renewal, or Change Report) or program(s) being applied for. For Renewals and Change Reports, a Cancel Edit button displays, allowing you to cancel any revisions you are currently making in that section, reverting all fields back to the blank or default values.

- Use the icons in the summary sections page to edit, delete, or undo records and changes. If you edit a record, click Save + Add to save the changes.

- The edit icon (pencil) re-populates information about the individual selected and changes can be made.
- The delete icon (trash can) removes the selected record. Existing records from the VaCMS cannot be deleted (when performing Renewals and Change Reports).
- The undo icon (curved arrow pointing to the left) allows you to reset any information that was edited back to the information that exists in the VaCMS. This can only be used during Renewals and Change Reports.
- A green “E” icon will display next to a customer’s name if that record has been edited during the Renewal or Change Report.
- In the Is person Disabled or Blind? section, enter details of everyone in the household who is disabled and/or blind. If nobody is disabled or blind, leave all fields blank.

- Fields marked with a red asterisk are required.
- Fields without a red asterisk may not be required, but should still be completed if the information is available to you.
- There may be some fields that do not have a red asterisk that become required based upon other details entered on this page.
- Once completed, click Save + Add to complete the record. You can repeat the steps if you need to enter additional disability/blindness details.
- In the Drug Felonies section, enter details of everyone in the household who has a drug felony. If nobody has a drug felony, leave all fields blank.

- There may be some fields that do not have a red asterisk that become required based upon other details entered on this page.
- Once completed, click Save + Add to complete the record. You can repeat the steps if you need to enter additional drug felony details.
- In the Does person have Current / Past Assistance? section, enter details of everyone in the household who had/has current, past, or pending assistance. If nobody has current, past, or pending assistance, leave all fields blank.

Once completed, click Save + Add to complete the record. You can repeat the steps if you need to enter additional current, past, or pending assistance details.
- In the Received Medical Service / Expense in the Last Three Months section:
- In the Probation/Parole Violation section:
- Select the checkbox for any member of the household who is on Probation, or violated parole.
- In the Head of Household section:
- Select the Head of Household using the radio button for the appropriate applicant/customer (applicable only when applying for or receiving SNAP).
- In the Is anyone in the household considered a Roomer or Boarder? section:
- Select the checkbox for any member of the household who is a roomer or boarder.

In the Other Medicaid Covered Group section:

- Click Save + Continue.
Results of the Procedure
Rapid Data Entry process continues to the EA Non-Financial Information page (if Energy Assistance is requested or received) or the Liquid Resources page, or the Income page (for MA Renewals and Change Reports).
