Register Application Type and Maintain Application Type

Use this procedure to record whether a customer will complete a Medicaid Resource rather than proceeding through the standard VaCMS driver flow.

Process Steps:

1. In the Application Type section (at least one question should be answered Yes):
   • Select Yes or No from the Is this an application for assistance? dropdown menu.
   • Select Yes or No from the Is this a LTC Resource Assessment? dropdown menu.
   • • If the answer is Yes to “Is this a LTC Resource Assessment?,” enter the First day of first continuous period of institutionalization date.

2. Click Next.

Results of the Procedure:

The application type is successfully registered.
