SNAP Client Notice Reasons

Use this procedure to view Eligibility Determination Group Summary for a case that has just completed Eligibility Determination during the Data Collection process.

Process Steps:

The Wrap-up - Eligibility Summary page displays.

The Eligibility Summary page displays the results of the eligibility calculation, showing the details of the case’s eligibility or ineligibility. The unique Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) number, type of assistance (TOA), eligibility period, family unit size, potential co-payment, eligibility status, and eligibility determination date are also displayed. If the case has been certified the certification results will be displayed.

Review the Eligibility information.

- Potential Copay (Child Care)
- Net Benefit Amount
- Eligibility Result
- Eligibility Status
- Eligibility Determination Date
- Pending Reasons VCL Other
Click on the Eligibility / Service Period hyperlink to view the Eligibility Determination Group Summary results.
The Eligibility Determination Group Summary page displays.
Click on the Notice Reasons tab to view the Notice Reasons.
The Notice Reasons page displays.

- Review the Case Information section:
- - Case Name
  - Case #
  - Case Mode
  - Case Status
- Review the EDG Information section:
- - EDG #
  - Program / TOA
  - Eligibility Service Period
  - Eligibility Result
  - Eligibility Status
  - Redetermination Date
  - Interim Report Date
  - Eligibility Begin Date
  - Eligibility Date
  - Work Participation Status
  - Exemption Reason
  - Sanction Begin Date
  - Sanction End Date
- Review the Notice Reason(s) for EDG section.
- Review the Notice Reason(s) for Client(s) section.
- Review the Notice Reason(s) for all of the customers saying why they are not included in the certified group.
- - It displays the notice reasons for all the customers saying why they are not included in certified group.
  - Click on the Client ID hyperlink, the Client Summary page will be displayed with the customer information.

Results of the Procedure:

The eligibility results are displayed for the case number that is entered and the program category selected.
