SNAP Overpayment Calculation

Use this process to display the details of the overpayment. The authorized user can view and edit the details of the overpayment.

Process Steps:

The Snap Overpayment Calculation page displays.

1. In the Benefit Information section:
   • Review fields.

2. In the Recalculation section (right side of screen):

1. • Enter the Total Self Employment.
   • Enter the Gross Reported Earned Income.
   • Enter the Gross Unreported Earned Income.
   • Enter the Total Unearned Income.
   • Enter the Farming / Fishing Loss.
   • Enter the HH / AU Size.
   • Select Yes or No from the Household Contains Elderly / Disabled Person dropdown menu.
   • Enter Dependent Care Costs.
   • Enter Child Support Payments.
   • Enter the Medical Expenses.
   • Select Yes or No from the Homeless Shelter Allowance dropdown menu.
   • Enter expenses in Housing Field.

   • Enter expenses in the Utilities field.

   • Enter the amount of Total Liquid Resources.

   • Enter the Benefit Amount (enabled when eligibility information is not known to the VaCMS for the benefit month).

3. Click Recalculate.
4. Click Add / Update.
5. Click Save + Continue.

Results of the Procedure:

The SNAP Overpayment Calculation process is initiated.
