Use this process to capture the information related to the customer’s SNAP Work Requirement.
The SNAP Work Registration / Work Requirement page displays.
In the Client Information section:
Select the customer’s name from the Name dropdown menu.
The customer’s Client # is read-only.
In the SNAP Work Registration section:
Select Yes or No from the Does this individual take care of a child under 6 (Household may only claim one parent for this exemption) dropdown menu.
Select Yes or No from the Is this individual caring for a disabled person dropdown menu.
Select Yes or No from the Is this individual applying for or receiving unemployment benefits in Virginia dropdown menu.
Select Yes or No from the Does the individual participate in a drug or alcoholic treatment or rehabilitation program dropdown menu.
Select Yes or No from the Does the individual work more than or average at least 30 hours per week dropdown menu (required).
Select Yes or No from the Does the individual work less than 30 hours and make the equivalent of the federal minimum wage multiplied by 30 hours per week dropdown menu (required enabled when Does the individual work more than or average at least 30 hours per week? is selected as No).
Select Yes or No from the Does the individual choose to volunteer for SNAPET dropdown menu.
In the SNAP Work Requirement section:
Select Yes or No from the Has this individual worked/volunteered since he / she began receiving SNAP benefits dropdown menu (required).
Select Yes or No from the Has this individual worked/volunteered at least 80 hours in a 30 day period dropdown menu (required).
Select Yes or No from the Does the individual work 20 hours or more per week and less than 29 hours per week dropdown menu.

Click Save + Add SNAP Requirements to save the entered information and display a blank SNAP Work Registration / Work Requirement page. |
The customer’s SNAP work registration and requirements are recorded.
