Use this process to adjust a customer’s Work Requirement clock, or add months during Intake for a customer who has an open clock from receiving SNAP in the past. Remember, the VaCMS automatically creates a clock for the application and ongoing months for every applicable individual. Do not add a clock month for the application month unless the customer received benefits on another case in the application month (if so, be sure to also complete the Other In State Benefits page for the customer).

The Begin Month will default to the application month.
Only adjust the Begin Month when adding months during Intake for a customer with an open clock from receiving SNAP in the past. If so, enter the Begin Month to match the customer’s existing clock.
If months need to be manually added:
Enter the Begin Month.
Note: When entering an existing clock during Intake, the Begin Month is the first month of the existing clock.
Enter the Benefit Month From.
Enter the Benefit Month To.
Note: You can select a range of months, or add one month at a time.
Select the Status Code from the dropdown menu. If your Month From / Month To range covers more than one month, the Status Code you select from the dropdown will be applied to every month in the range. You can edit each added month individually by clicking the pencil.
The clock adjustments are saved.
