Use this procedure to initiate a search of PARIS data for individuals that may be receiving duplicate benefits. This information can only be accessed by users with certain roles within the VaCMS.
From the Left Navigation menu, select Interfaces and then select PARIS.
Depending on your Security Role, all your matches, all the matches for your locality, or all the statewide matches will display.
Once the matches display you may refine your search by entering one of the search criteria. A search by FIPS is restricted by Security Role.
The search results display in the Interstate Match Summary section at the bottom of the page.

Click on the Details icon in the far-right column to review a match.
The Interstate Match – Details page displays.
Review the information about the match.
Access to and completion of the Benefit Impact Statement (BIS) is restricted by Security Role. The completion of the BIS is the responsibility of the LDSS or DMAS Fraud Investigator. Click the Benefit Impact Statement button. The Benefit Impact Statement page displays. All required fields on the BIS must be completed.
Click Submit.
Depending on your Security Role, you can move between the Search, Details, and Benefit Impact Statement.
Benefit Workers must determine impact of the match results on current eligibility and make any required case changes. Fraud Workers must determine impact of the match results on past eligibility. PARIS Management Reports are available to Fraud Staff through the Data Warehouse.
