Targeted Review Add Criteria

Use this procedure to assign new sampling due dates.

Users with the role of Statistical Analyst are the only users who have the ability to access this page and add targeted review criteria.

Process Steps:

From the Left Navigation menu click the Quality Control module.
From the Left Navigation menu click the Targeted Review Search / Create Criteria link.
Enter a Description (required).
Select a Program from the dropdown menu (required).
Click Add.
- A new record is created.

The Activate Criteria and Create Complete fields are initially defaulted to “No” since no criteria are yet associated with the record and the sample has not been created.

For Activate Criteria, the field value is equal to “Yes” when criteria from the Targeted Review-Add Criteria page are associated with the Criteria ID.
For Create Complete, the field value is equal to “Yes” when sampling is created for at least one target review month in the Target review period.

A Criteria ID is created each time new targeted review criteria are created. If the user keys in a Criteria ID when adding criteria, an error message (QA0016: Criteria ID is system generated) is displayed. Criteria ID can only be used for searching.

To associate review criteria to the record, click the pencil icon next to the record to access the Targeted Review-Add Criteria page to edit the saved new review criteria.
The Program field displays with the program selected on the Targeted Review Search / Create Criteria page.
Enter the Target Effective Begin Date (required).
Enter the Target Effective End Date (required).
If necessary, select a Region from the dropdown menu.
If necessary, select a FIPS from the dropdown menu.
In the SNAP Sampling Criteria section:

- Enter the Positive 1 Interval.
- Enter the Positive 1 Starting Number.
- Enter the Positive 1 Due Date.
- Enter the Positive 2 Interval.
- Enter the Positive 2 Starting Number.
- Enter the Positive 2 Due Date.
- Enter the Negative Interval.
- Enter the Negative Starting Number.
- Enter the Negative Due Date.

In the EAP Sampling Criteria section:

- Enter the Fuel Positive and Negative Number to Sample and Due Dates.
- Enter the Cooling Positive and Negative Number to Sample and Due Dates.
- Enter the Crisis Positive and Negative Number to Sample and Due Dates.

In the MA Sampling Criteria section:

- From the Available Aid Categories dropdown menu, select an aid category. Click the + icon to add the aid category to the Selected Aid Categories field.
- Enter the CHIP Positive 1 number to sample.
- Enter the CHIP Positive 1 targeted review due date.
- Enter the CHIP Positive 2 number to sample.
- Enter the CHIP Positive 2 targeted review due date.
- Enter the CHIP Negative number to sample.
- Enter the CHIP Negative targeted review due date.
- Enter the Medicaid Positive 1 number to sample.
- Enter the Medicaid Positive 1 targeted review due date.
- Enter the Medicaid Positive 2 number to sample.
- Enter the Medicaid Positive 2 targeted review due date.
- Enter the Medicaid Negative number to sample.
- Enter the Medicaid Negative targeted review due date.

Click Submit.
- The Targeted Review Search / Create Criteria page is displayed.

Click Save + Continue.
- The record becomes associated with the indicated criteria and the Activate Criteria is changed to “Yes.”

Criteria can be edited up until the first day of the month when the monthly batch is run.

Results of the Procedure:

New targeted review criteria for the program are added.
