Update PMOC

Use this procedure to update the Preferred Method of Correspondence (PMOC) as a quick change for cases without entering into a Case Change/Closure case action. Workers will be able to navigate to the Update PMOC page from the Case Summary page in RDE.

Process Steps

From the Left Navigation menu, select Rapid Data Entry (RDE), then click Search Case. The Search Case page displays. Enter the search criteria and click Search. Click on the case number hyperlink from the search results. The Case Summary page displays. Click the Update PMOC button. The Update PMOC page displays.

 

  1. Enter a new cell # in the Preferred Correspondence Cell # field or a new email in the Preferred Correspondence Email field.

  2. Click Submit.

  3. Whenever a worker enters a new Preferred Method of Correspondence, a warning message will display for the worker that information entered does not match the previously entered and validated PMOC information. Workers will still be able to proceed to complete the data entry but the customer will be notified that they must again validate the PMOC in CommonHelp.

  4. Customers are notified of the PMOC change through a mailed form which is centrally printed automatically via a nightly batch whenever PMOC information is changed.

  5. Data entered on the Update PMOC page will populate the Data Collection pages as a quick method to change PMOC information without entering into a Case Change/Closure case action.

Results of the Procedure

The Preferred Method of Correspondence (PMOC) has been updated.
