Wrap-up - Run Eligibility

Use this procedure to run the eligibility based upon all information entered for the case. This process determines the complete eligibility results, and includes family unit size, non-financial eligibility results, and potential customer co-pay.

Process Steps:

The Wrap-up – Run Eligibility page displays.

  1. Enter the Case Number.
  2. Select the Checkbox next to the program for which eligibility needs to be run.
  3. Select the Program Category (Child Care Only) dropdown menu.
  4. Enter the Run EDBC From (Medical Assistance Only) date. This field is only enabled and required when performing a Case Change or Renewal on a Medical Assistance case. Required when performing a RCR in a case change.

  5. Enter the Run EDBC Until (Medical Assistance Only) date. This field is only enabled and required when performing a Case Change or Renewal on a Medical Assistance case. Required when performing a RCR in a case change.

  6. Select Yes or No from the Evaluate for Ongoing Spenddown (Medical Assistance Only) dropdown menu. This field defaults to Yes and is only applicable for Medical Assistance.
Note: This is not required during Intake/Screening case action.

  7. Select Yes or No from the Does the applicant waive right to the advance notice? (Yes / No) dropdown menu (required for ongoing cases with TANF and / or SNAP program(s) if system date is after the adverse action cut-off date).

For SNAP and TANF, the Reasons for Delay in Case Processing pop-up window is displayed if the application date is more than 30 days in the past.

The worker must select Yes or No from the Is the delay result of client or agency error? dropdown menu and enter the Last Verification Received date.

  1. Click Next.

  2. Click Restart Self-Direct to restart Self-Direct processing for an MA only Intake or Renewal application which failed in Data Collection, Case Assignment, or File Clearance stage.

If the case is a mixed case with MA and other programs, then the case should not have programs other than MA having Eligibility Result as Pending.

If you select to run eligibility for the MA program only, Self-Direct will be run in the batch mode and you will be navigated to Case Action screen. EDBC will be run via Self-Direct selectively for MA program only.

Results of the Procedure:

This process determines the complete eligibility results considering Family Unit size, Non-Financial and Financial Eligibility results, and potential Copay (if applicable).
