Case Action Profile

The Case Action Profile page in VaCMS displays the history of eligibility actions performed on a case. This screen allows the user to search for a case by program and displays the details of the eligibility actions done for the program.  The screen allows caseworkers, consultants, production support and others to troubleshoot issues in production. It also allows supervisors to track eligibility actions done by their specific workers. The user may access data for the past three years.  Tracking Numbers and Application Date will only show going-forward from the screen’s implementation date, 09/27/19.  The results reflect eligibility actions where the Eligibility Run Date is between the Begin and End Dates specified by the user.  User may scroll horizontally and vertically on the results if necessary to see all information.

The Fields on this Page

Case #                           User must enter a valid case number.  This is a required field.

Program                        User must select a program from the dropdown.   This is a required field.

EDG#                            User may search for MA cases using the EDG# to search for a specific EDG.  Must be a valid EDG#.

Begin Date                   User may select the date using the calendar icon or typing in the date in valid format (MM/DD/YYYY).   The Date cannot be more than three years in the past.  This is a required field.

End Date                       User may select the date using the calendar icon or typing in the date in valid format (MM/DD/YYYY).   This is a required field.

Reset                            On clicking Reset, all values in the Results and the Search criteria are blanked out.

Submit                          On clicking Search, the results will be displayed in the Results section. The Search criteria selected will remain.

Name                            The name of Client or Case associated with the EDG number.

Tracking #                    The T number associated with the eligibility run.

App Date                      The date of the application that is being disposed in that transaction.

Program/TOA               Specific to the selected Program, Type of Assistance, Component or Eligibility Category associated with the EDG #. 

Eligibility Month           This field will display the month the eligibility result is valid.

Eligibility Result           The system-derived results based on the eligibility run

Eligibility Status           Identifies whether the eligibility results have been certified.

EDBC Action Date        The date on which eligibility was run or certified.

User                             The LDAP user ID of who ran the eligibility or certified it.

EDBC Action                The action that is initiated with the EDBC run.

Denial/Closure/Suspension Reason    The Denial, Suspension or Closure reason of eligibility, if applicable.  User may hover over the code to see a description of the reason.

Service Request (EAP)    For EAP, the service request that is associated with the eligibility run.

Service Request Status   The status of the service request, indicating if the particular service is approved, closed, pending or denied.

Eligibility Override

All workers with access to the Eligibility Summary screen will have read-only access to the Override Summary and Details screen. This is applicable for all programs (including EAP) except for Child Care. The Override Summary screen is not enabled for childcare only cases.  The functionality for write-access to the Override screens will not change.
