Update and Remove Users

  1. To edit an employee profile, please refer to the Procedure Help “Update an Employee Profile.” Information imported from SAMS into the Employee Profile is in a Read-Only status and cannot be edited.

  2. Supervisors should reassign cases before a worker separates from the agency. Then the supervisor should notify the local security officer (LSO) to remove a separated employee from SAMS, and thereby remove their access to the VaCMS.
