Add Facility

Use this procedure to add a facility to an existing legal entity. There is no limit to the amount of facilities that can be added to a legal entity. 

Facilities with the same SSN or FEIN are allowed when adding multiple facilities to a legal entity. A confirmation message appears to confirm the duplicate SSN or FEINs in the system.

Process Steps:

1. From the Left Navigation menu, select Vendor Management, then Legal Entity Search.

   • The Legal Entity Search page displays.
2. In the Legal Entity Search section if the legal entity is an individual:

• • Enter the First name (One letter minimum).
  • Enter the Last name (One letter minimum).

And / Or

• • Enter the SSN.

And / Or

1. • Enter the Entity ID.

   • Enter any additional search criteria.

   • Click Search.

3. In the Legal Entity Search section if the legal entity is an organization:

1. • Enter the Organization Name.

And / Or

1. • Enter the FEIN.

   • Enter any additional search criteria. 

   • Click Search.

4. In the Legal Entity Search Results section:

1. • Select the radio button next to the legal entity that matches the legal entity being searched for.

   • Click Next.

   • The Legal Entity Summary page displays.

For unregulated vendors only one facility can be associated with its assigned legal entity. An error message displays if attempting to add multiple facilities to the legal entity of an unregulated vendor.

1. • Click Add Facility.

   • The Enroll Vendor page displays.

   • Continue adding a facility to a legal entity by following the Enroll Vendor driver flow, proceed to Enroll Vendor.

 Results of the Procedure:

The facility has been added to the legal entity.
