Use this procedure to record information for other benefits or services that a client receives or has recently received.

Use this page to capture information about benefits received from TANF (including within the last 12 months), SNAPET, HEADSTART, SNAP, Medical Assistance or CPS Family Assessment or Investigation. |

At the top of this page is the New Data button. This button can be used to populate client information gathered during the Rapid Data Entry process. |
To populate data, click the New Data button.

You can select the appropriate record and click the Populate button to import this data onto the page. You can then update this information and click on “Save + Continue” to proceed. Once the record is saved in the VaCMS, it will no longer show up on the pop-up window. To cancel the import of data onto the page click the “Reset” button, as long as the data was not saved in the VaCMS. |
In the Client Information section:
Select the Name of the client who is receiving or received the other benefits / services.

The selected client’s Client # is read-only. |
In the Dates section:

The End Date is enabled on this page. If the benefit or service is temporary and the End Date is known, enter it on this page. An alert is triggered 90 days before TANF Transitional expires based on the End Date entered on this page. |

The Effective Begin Date is the day that other benefits or services start to be considered for child care eligibility. This is either the Application / Screening Date or the day that the benefits or services began. During the Intake process the Effective Begin Date defaults to the Application / Screening Date. When making updates to the Data Collection driver flow the Effective Begin Date defaults to the current date. |

When entering information for the first time the Reported On and Verification Received On dates default to the current date. |
Enter the Effective Begin Date of when the benefits or services (required).
Enter the End Date of the benefits or services, if applicable.
Enter the Reported On date for when the benefits or services were reported to the local department (required).
Enter the Date Change Occurred in benefits or services (required)
Enter the date the verification was received in the Verification Received On field (required).
In the Benefit / Service Details section:

If TANF Transitional benefit type is selected when the Effective Begin Date is entered the End Date is pre-filled with 12 months from the Effective Begin Date. |
Select the type of benefit or service the client receives or received from the Benefit / Service Type dropdown menu (required).
Select the Status of the client’s benefit or service (required).
Select the source of verification of the client’s benefit or service from the Verification dropdown menu (required).
Select a state from the State dropdown menu to indicate where benefits originated.
Select an option from the Medical Assistance Category dropdown menu.
Click Save + Add Other Benefit Programs to repeat the process and add information about other benefits, if necessary.
Click Save + Continue.
The Client Information – Run Eligibility page displays. Proceed to Run Eligibility Determination Group.
The client’s receipt of other benefits or services is recorded.
