Use this procedure to search for attendance information received from the Electronic Child Care (ECC) system.
From the Left Navigation menu, select Payments, then select Attendance Search.
The Attendance Search page displays.

The integration between the VaCMS and the ECC system enables the ECC system to send the VaCMS attendance information collected by Point of Service (POS) devices, telephone transactions, and manual data entry. The attendance information received from the ECC system is read-only. Attendance records are updated in the VaCMS after the POS device back swipe period ends. The back swipe period is present day plus eight prior days, meaning an attendance record is available in the VaCMS ten days after the service date. |
In the Search Criteria section:

The fields in the Search Criteria section are used to supply criteria when searching for attendance records. Enter information in some or all of the fields to decrease or expand the search range as appropriate. The more criteria entered the more specific the search results will be. |
Enter the appropriate Vendor ID or click the search icon, enter the search criteria, and select the appropriate vendor identification number to display the attendance information for the children authorized to receive services from the vendor.
Select a Service Period from the dropdown menu to narrow the search results to include a specific service period.
Select a Fiscal Year from the dropdown menu to narrow the search results to include a specific Fiscal Year.
Select a Locality from the dropdown menu to narrow the search results within a specific Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) code.
Click Search.
The search results display in the Search Results section.
Proceed to View Attendance Details.
The attendance search is successfully completed.
