The Effective Begin Date defaults to the current date.
If the Vendor Type is updated the Effective Begin Date pre-fills with the next day’s date which provides for proper calculation of attendance and payments.
Use this procedure to update the existing demographic details for a vendor in the VaCMS. Vendor demographics can be updated for vendors maintained by DOLPHIN.
The Facility Demographics Detail page displays.

Enter the Effective Begin Date (required).
Follow the procedure outlined in the Facility Demographics procedure to update the demographic information.
Click Save + Continue.
If this is the first time updating the vendor’s information:
The Facility Status Detail page displays.
Proceed to Facility Status.
If this is not the first time updating the vendor’s information:
The Facility Status Detail page displays.
Use the Left Navigation menu to select another page to update.
The vendor’s demographic information is updated.
